Footballers crying as head coach passes away during match
The coach had just assumed leadership of the football club in October
Team members dropped to their knees sobbing as they were informed of their head coach's demise throughout a match in Serbia's top flight
Team manager Mladen Zizovic collapsed and was given medical attention beside the field before being taken to hospital during his team's match at their opponents' ground on recently
The professional game went on but was abandoned moments before the interval when word of Zizovic's death got to the ground
Footage of the contest showed athletes and staff from each team in distress at the news
The former Bosnian international player, 44, was just named leader of the football club on late October
"The organization has been deprived of not only a great professional but above all a good man, a friend, and a competitor who, with his knowledge, vitality and integrity has made a significant impact on the souls of all who knew him"
The national football governing body said its "soccer family has suffered the loss of another dedicated sports professional" with his death
"Throughout his lengthy professional experience, the coach was part of numerous clubs in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly Zrinjski Mostar, Radnik Bijeljina and Borac Banja Luka, and he also wore the colors of the national squad"
